Kidney for Life — Better matching through DNA
The NKR uses eplet-based DNA matching to find kidneys that last longer and reduce rejection risk. If you're a transplant candidate, the Kidney for Life program improves your chances of a successful long-term transplant.

Important
Not all US transplant centers offer Donor Shield. Only the 102 NKR member centers. If your local hospital is not on this list, consider traveling to one that is — Donor Shield reimburses up to $6,000 in travel expenses.
